CraigslistAdTracker's mission is to help marketers easily measure the effectiveness of their classified marketing campaigns so they can make good decisions to become more successful online.

I officially started CraigslistAdTracker.com in July 2009. I had been using craigslist long before then to sell stuff, for lack of better word, and also to advertise my tutoring and programming services. And even though I was receiving some email and phone inquiries about my services, I still wanted to know how much interest my ads were generating so I created a small tracking system. This helped satisfy my curiousity and also helped me realise I could make certain changes to improve my ad open and response rates and get better leads for my business.

I became addicted to seeing the results and the fancy graphs I had made showing how many views my ads were receiving. And quite honestly, it was fun and exciting for me to watch.

As time passed, I wondered how many other people would want to have this functionality. And finally in July 2009, I decided to turn my little program into a website that will allow others to track their ads. Lo and Behold, it turned out a lot of people were interested. How Exciting! So I went to work making the site into what it is today.
